OMaxine, our AI health companion helps organize and interpret patterns across your symptoms, history, and goals — so nothing important gets overlooked. It supports better conversations and decisions but does not replace clinicians.

RoarMD is a modern virtual health platform designed for women over 40, focused on whole-woman care — physical, emotional, cognitive, and metabolic health — delivered through a combination of intelligent technology and licensed clinicians.
How is RoarMD different from other menopause or women’s health platforms?
Unlike symptom- or prescription-first platforms, RoarMD connects the dots across your body and life. We focus on understanding what’s happening before jumping to treatment, and we support you over time — not just during a single visit.
Do you accept insurance?
We operate on a transparent, self-pay model so we can spend more time with you and focus on what you actually need — not what insurance dictates. That means longer visits, personalized treatment, and fewer hoops to jump through. Depending on your plan, you may be able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

Do I need a referral?
No referral needed. You can book directly with us. No gatekeepers. No waiting on another appointment first.
Is Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) safe?
For most healthy women under 60 or within 10 years of menopause, HRT may be considered an appropriate treatment option when prescribed and monitored by a qualified healthcare provider. Many of the scary headlines you may remember are outdated or misunderstood. We take your personal health history seriously and design a plan around your goals, symptoms, and personal health history to determine whether HRT is appropriate for you. If so we'll develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
How quickly will I feel better?
Many women start noticing improvements within the first couple of weeks, particularly when it comes to hot flashes and sleep. For others, it may take 4–8 weeks to really dial things in. The goal isn’t just “a little better.” It’s helping you feel steady, clear, and like yourself again. We’ll adjust your plan along the way to get there.
Can I use my HSA/FSA?
Yes. Most women use their HSA or FSA funds for visits and prescriptions. We’ll provide everything you need to submit for reimbursement, so you can use the benefits you’ve already set aside for your health.
Do I have to stay on medication forever?
Not necessarily. Some women use medication longer-term to maintain metabolic stability, while others transition off after building sustainable habits and improving metabolic markers. Our goal is to create a healthier foundation so you have options. Your plan evolves with you.
Is compounded medication safe?
Compounded medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies to meet patient-specific needs. We work with FDA-regulated pharmacies and prescribe only when clinically indicated. Your safety is our priority, and we’ll walk you through the benefits, considerations, and whether a compounded option makes sense for you. Disclaimer: The FDA does not verify the safety, effectiveness, or quality of compounded drugs offered at our clinic. As an alternative to FDA-approved branded products, where appropriate, a provider may prescribe a compounded drug, which is prepared by a state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy partner. Although compounded drugs are permitted to be prescribed under federal law, they are not FDA-approved and do not undergo safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing review.
Do you prescribe GLP-1s for weight loss?
Yes. When clinically appropriate, we prescribe GLP-1–based medications to support weight loss, metabolic health, and blood sugar regulation. Your clinician will review your medical history, goals, and lab work (if needed) to determine whether this type of treatment is right for you. Not everyone needs a GLP-1. But if you do, we’ll guide you through your options clearly and responsibly.
Do I need bloodwork?
In many cases, yes. Lab work helps us understand your baseline hormone levels, metabolic markers, and nutritional status so we can create a personalized plan. If you already have recent labs, we can review those. If not, we can facilitate your lab order.

How long before I see results?
Some women notice improvements in energy, sleep, or mental clarity within a few weeks, while deeper metabolic and body composition changes can take a few months. Longevity is a long game. Our goal is steady, sustainable progress that helps you feel better now and over time.

We’re typically able to create strong matches; however, if at any point you feel your therapist isn’t the right fit, you can request to be paired with a different professional.
