Frequently Asked Questions
Who will my therapist be?
Once you complete your registration, we’ll connect you with a therapist who aligns with your goals, preferences, and the specific challenges you’re facing. Because each therapist brings a unique style and specialization, finding someone who suits your needs is key to making meaningful progress. We’re typically able to create strong matches; however, if at any point you feel your therapist isn’t the right fit, you can request to be paired with a different professional.
How quickly will I feel better?
Every person’s journey is different. Some women notice improvements in mood, sleep, or energy within a few weeks, while deeper, lasting changes often take a few months. Your provider will create a plan that meets you where you are.
Do I need an in-person visit?
No. Our mental health care is delivered virtually, making it convenient and private. Video or phone visits allow you to connect with licensed providers from the comfort of home.
Do you prescribe anti-depressants?
No. Unfortunately, at this point RoarMD is not prescribing mental health medications.
Do you accept insurance?
We operate on a transparent, self-pay model so we can spend more time with you and focus on what you actually need — not what insurance dictates. That means longer visits, personalized treatment, and fewer hoops to jump through. Depending on your plan, you may be able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
Can I use my HSA/FSA?
Yes. Most women use their HSA or FSA funds for visits and prescriptions. We’ll provide everything you need to submit for reimbursement, so you can use the benefits you’ve already set aside for your health.
